We have significant experience with literally hundreds of Counselling Students. This has contributed to our excellent reputation for mental health counselling. To ease the move from theoretical to practical, Students must first spend time volunteering on our Helpline. This can be done during your time in years 2 or 3 of your counselling course! To read about a Student Counsellor who recently spent time on our Helpline, read 'Madison's Experience: being a Helpliner before Student Counsellor' via this link: https://www.basmind.org/testimonials--staff-volunteers-and-service-users/
If you are looking for a placement complete the application form and the equality & diversity monitoring form send it to counselling@basmind.org.
Or, if you would prefer to chat about a placement opportunity please telephone one of our Counselling Managers Cliff Bedford or Debby Murray on 01268 284130
